At ICS-translate, while we collaborate with many exporters and brands who have been internationally active for years, there’s a special satisfaction to working on projects with clients who are in the early stage of going global.
Now – for English SMEs with less than 250 employees at least – there is some extra support available to help make that next step easier.
With a focus on 2022 growth, the Department for International Trade (DIT) has just announced its new Internationalisation Fund for eligible companies in England.
The fund is substantial and provides match-funded grants of between £1,000 and £9,000 to help businesses to grow internationally.
While eligible businesses must fund some of the investment, this would only be 40% or 50% of the cost of the initiative being funded – and that includes translation and localisations services.
The ICS-translate team works across 80 languages, covering dozens of B2C and B2B sectors – and we’d love to support eligible companies to experience the full benefit of the Internationalisation Fund.
Already it looks like demand is high as applications for businesses in London have already closed but for those elsewhere, this initiative is absolutely worth looking into.
Aside from translation and localisation, the fund also covers other key areas of international planning and growth -
Our colleagues at ICS-digital are well equipped to support with international SEO, content, social media and market insights and together we provide a complete approach to multilingual marketing, content and customer engagement.
